Description
For your consideration is this vintage framed original oil painting by unknown artist. The painting depicts a white house and a brick windmill sitting on the shoreline near a lake overlooking distant mountains and sailboats while storm clouds are forming above. The painting is comprised on varying hues of brown, tan and gray. It measures about 26 3/4″ by 17 3/4″ with frame and 13 5/8″ by 22 1/2″ within the frame. This antique piece is in good condition with a solid frame. The brown frame has painted black wood grain with a few chips and scuff marks. The painting has a two 1/4″ areas of paint loss and a few scratches. There is a sticker on the back that says “Framing Dept, The Emporium, St. Paul MN” which per investigation, may have been closed in the 1960’s. Please see the pictures for more details.
