Description
For your consideration is this 10 1/4″ diameter German handled cream colored porcelain platter with an interesting yet beautiful scene in the center. The portrayed scene is of two women being wooed by a man, possibly a young Greek god. On the bottom of the scene is a signature from the artist. Circling the scene is gold gild that is also found at the very edge of the plate. On the bottom of the plate is a marking that reads “Blenheim China” and “Germany.” There are no chips or cracks, but there is wear to the gold encompassing the scene with very slight wear on the scene itself.
