Description
For your consideration is this original mid-century-look, heavily textured oil painting on board by artist H. Patter. The painting depicts an ocean scene in the colors of canary yellow, dark brown, teals and white with hovering seagulls in a scuttle and crashing waves on rocks below them. The artist has signed their name in the bottom corner and this piece is framed in a dark stained carved wooden frame with burlap-look embellishment. The painting is in good condition with a solid frame. The wooden frame has some chips and nicks and some, what appears to be, white paint on the one section of the burlap-look embellishment on the frame. The painting has two small areas of paint loss on the picture with the largest being 1/2″ and some very light staining in the upper section. The piece measures about 44 1/4″ by 23 1/4″ with frame and 37 1/2″ by 16 3/4″ within the frame. Please see pictures for further details.
