For your consideration is this amazing antique Victorian era photograph taken during a Key to the City of Chicago event.
This is nicely framed in wood and has a slate-colored board backing with a wire hanger.
A flag can be seen, this appears to have 42 stars, which would date this photo to the 1889-90 period.
The men and ladies are dressed in exquisite Victorian garb. Banners and flags can be seen flying in the rear.
This measures about 22″ x 20″.
The condition is quite good for the age, with scratches evident on the frame and some artifacts and distortions noted along the edges of the photo.
