For your consideration is this Jack in the Box Co. English-made toy.
This features an attractive wood box that measures 2 3/4″ cubed with brass latch and hinge. The bottom is marked with a label stating the company name and address as well as that this is suitable for children aged 36 months and up.
Once the latch is opened the clown figure springs out, ready to snatch the unwary. There is a brass bell on the end of his jester’s cap.
This is all housed in a blue cardboard box. The box has some sun fade noted.
