Description

For your consideration is this gorgeous vintage Spode Jewel Copeland creamware salad plate, made in England. Features a lovely pink rose in the center called the “Billingsley Rose”. The “Billingsley Rose” pattern was made between 1926 and 1989. We believe this plate to have been made during the 1930s.

There is an abundant charm in the finely detailed Billingsley Jewel Rose pattern by Spode. The scalloped edging, lace doily detailing, and centered imaging of pink antique roses and blue and purple forget me not type flowers are divinely feminine.

Old Spodes red mark on the back and an impressed mark that reads “Copeland Imperial”.

This salad plate measures 7 7/8″ in diameter. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or crazing.

A beautiful plate that would be a lovely addition to a bridal shower or tea party table!
